Home Time/Weekends oFF

We, at Mountain West Milk Transport, realize family/free time is important, so we schedule as much home time as possible.  With the large number of loads going into and out of California, it is possible to be home a couple of times a week and have most weekends off.  We try to schedule the runs to get your 34 hours reset at home. Longer runs are available if a driver prefers it.

Owners/Operators Welcome

Mountain West Milk Transport welcomes Owner Operators.  We are, also, in the process of creating a program that allows employees the opportunity to lease-to-own their own equipment.

New Equipment

Mountain West Milk Transport runs mostly Freightliner Cascadias with some Western Stars.  Trucks are equipped with automatic transmissions, refrigerators, and an upgraded interior package for more driver comfort.  Our trade cycle is every 3 years or less to minimize breakdowns and to keep up with the latest technology.

We run refrigerated and dry van trailers, that are late model, in order to reduce break down time.

Regional Routes

Mountain West Milk Transport offers regional routes through the 11 Western States and the Midwest.  Most of our runs are Utah to Central California and Southern California and Utah to the Midwest and back.  The majority of our loads originate and end in Utah, providing more home time for drivers living in Utah.  However, we welcome drivers from any state.
